Islamofascism: defined

Islamofascism is four ideologies rolled into one:

Islamism- A government should be a totalitarian theocracy (Islamic in this case) essentially and that making laws, judgments, rules, and governmental standards all entirely based off solely the Qur’an is the best form of government.
Pan-Islamism- A government should as stated above, but it shouldn’t just be one or a few nation’s government, the whole world should be under one caliphate or world government ruled by a caliph (who would also be head of the Islamic church).
Islamic fundamentalism- The belief that Muslims have lost their way in the religion, and that people who are not Muslims are either destroying the world, evil, the devil in disguise, or some other religious claim and that they should be stopped. Also, they believe that Muslims are the only good people on the planet, and that all non-Muslims should either convert or die.
Jihadism/Qutbism/Khomeinism- The belief that all these stated goals should be acquired through jihad, mujahideen, or holy war. That you must actively take up arms against “infidels”, support the holy war in any way you can; financially, arm the terrorist groups, create political support in communities, governments, and establishments. This was the view of Sayyid Qutb, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. You could also draw links to Khomeini’s teachings, you see he believed in total Muslim unity and social solidarity (total white unity and social solidarity was a main ‘virtue’ of Hitler), as well as the export of Islamic revolution throughout the world: “Establishing the Islamic state world-wide belong to the great goals of the revolution.” Another name for these all these Qutb/Khomeini views would be Jihadism, this is essentially the Islamofascist form of bellism (fascist/Nazi philosophy of “war for the sake of war”, taken from the greek word for war “bellica”).

Islamofascism, is, essentially, a religious version of neofascism (any fascist thought after WWII). I do not want to insult Muslims when I use this term, I am trying to help them when I use this term. I want the real Muslims, the sane Muslim people that I know exist to start identifying these fascists in their communities so they can shun them, excommunicate them, and stop this political movement’s strangle hold on the religion so all may have peace again. Please, this is a message to all Muslims, only you can stop these monsters in the most important battlefield; the battlefield of your hearts and minds.

UPDATE:

I would also like to inform our Muslim libertarian friends that I honestly do not seek at all to define your religion as fascist in any way. I am merely stating that fascists have twisted your belief in the Qur’an in their rhetoric for their own gain of power. This can happen to any religion, you are not the only ones; if you don’t believe me please read this article on Christofascism.

“Establishing the Islamic state world-wide belong to the great goals of the revolution.”

COUNTER TERRORISM BLOG

I suggest all members of the LDC and all who ideologically align themselves with us, and hell, even you non-interventionists (pro-appeasers) should read the link above.

It is a document outlining the farces, inconsistencies and errors made by pro-appeasers.

Now, before you comment below with remarks such as “neocon propaganda” “warmongering bullshit” “racist and bigoted analysis” ask yourselves – Am I absolutely right no matter what in this particular argument? Are those who disagree with me on this ALWAYS wrong concerning the subject? If you answer “no” to both, then you’re on your way to thinking for yourself. If you answered “yes” to both then you’re just another tool for some politically motivated asshole from some website like “Antiwar.com” who is marching you around the Internet and protests filled with name calling, propaganda, and lies for whatever they happen to think is a good idea. You are not thinking for yourself, and you practically just like the neocons you hate. No difference at all between neoconservatives, pro-appeasement ideologies, and “purist” libertarians.

“What makes a free thinker is not his beliefs, but the way in which he holds them. If he holds them because his elders told him they were true when he was young, or if he holds them because if he did not he would be unhappy, his thought is not free; but if he holds them because, after careful thought, he finds a balance in their favor, then his thought is free, however odd his conclusions may seem.”

—Bertrand Russell, “The Value of Free Thought”

“Dogma demands authority, rather than intelligent thought, as the source of opinion; it requires persecution of heretics and hostility to unbelievers; it asks of its disciples that they should inhibit natural kindness in favor of systematic hatred.”

—Bertrand Russell, quoted from Laird Wilcox, ed., “The Degeneration of Belief”

Remember, we are the libertarians who want to oppose and fight against totalitarians abroad who would create fascistic theocratic governments and bring terror here in the U.S., you guys are the “libertarians” who want to sit back and appease fascistic theocrats the likes of Adolf Hitler that would take over world governments and send terrorist cells in into our hometowns and cities in hopes of creating a gloabal totalitarian state ruled with an iron fist by a “Caliphate” or king – I guess in someway or some universe you think that is “libertarianism”.

To all libertarians who still support Gravel…

CRANK DAT TRAITOR!

Always good to have some laughs with a man who tries to keep a confesed terrorist from being punished for murder “in the name of the constitution”.

Even though the constitution says the rights and freedom of America’s citizens must be protected from being infringed by out side or domestic forces.

Yeah….

To the radical libertarians who still don’t understand why we believe there is a War on Terror, please read these quotes from George Washington, John Locke and John Stuart Mill.

ON WAR:

“If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known, that we are at all times ready for War.” -Washington

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” -Mill

“To be prepared for war is one of the most effective means of preserving peace.” -Washington

ON LIBERTY:

“Laws made by common consent must not be trampled on by individuals.” -Washington

“Some day, following the example of the United States of America, there will be a United States of Europe.”-Washington

“The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.” -Washington

ON TERRORISM

“The time is near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves.” -Washington

“[A]s every man has a power to punish the crime, to prevent its being committed again, by the right he has of preserving all mankind, and doing all reasonable things he can in order to that end: and thus it is, that every man, in the state of nature, has a power to kill a murderer, both to deter others from doing the like injury, which no reparation can compensate, by the example of the punishment that attends it from every body, and also to secure men from the attempts of a criminal, who having renounced reason, the common rule and measure God hath given to mankind, hath, by the unjust violence and slaughter he hath committed upon one, declared war against all mankind, and therefore may be destroyed as a lion or a tyger, one of those wild savage beasts, with whom men can have no society nor security… “- Locke

“Liberty is to be free from restraint and violence from others” -Locke (this also overlaps with liberty)

There you have it fake libertarians, this is what true libertarianism is about, and what it origonally meant. I feel you need to start getting that through your heads.

New Admin

Hello everyone. My name is Maverick W.

I was the one who created the new emblem below, and I am also a new and proud member of the LDC. Though I am not a member of the LP, I am a member of the Modern Whig Party (a 21st century resurrection of of the old Whig Party). We’ve actually had to deal with Thomas Kanpp and his fringe BTP many times too you know, so I guess that’s just some shared war stories right?

Well ideologically I am a neolibertarian (or am I a FASCIST NEOCON!? :O) , of which on ideology I like to philosophize on my blog: owlwisebush.blogspot.com/

Anyways, I hope to help the LDC in any way I can in the future.

Thanks, from Maverick. (HELP ME MOMMA! NEOCONS ARE GONNA GET US)

The Statue of Freedom

The Statue of Freedom

Thank you to Maverick for creating an emblem for The LDC that represents our core ideals of individual liberty and the eternal vigilance that is required of us to preserve that liberty.

Anti – War Activist Stifling Free Speech

By Ryan Christiano

Libertarians are often lauded as the last guardians of liberty, and without question freedom of speech and freedom of expression are fundamental principles of libertarianism. This is clearly not the case for Anti – War Libertarian, and self-proclaimed omnipotent Wikipedia editor, Carol Moore.

Ms. Moore has taken the decidedly unlibertarian action of threatening to delete enteire articles at will that do not meet her criteria of the libertarian philosophy. Moore has insisted that libertarian-conservatism and neolibertarianism are not libertarianism, despite ample empirical evidence provided to the contrary. Ms. Moore appears to be embarking upon her very own philosophical Jihad, weeding out those ideas that contradict her interpretation of libertarianism.

Ms. Moore’s actions on Wikipedia underscore a larger dilemma that America is currently confronted with. The inability to distinguish between blind partisanship and fundamental fairness. This particular affliction has infected more individuals than just Ms. Moore, and has seeped into our political discourse as a nation, eating away at its host.

As Francois-Marie Arouet, better known as Voltaire once said,
“I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”

All Americans should adhere to this spirit, particularly if they wish to proclaim themselves; libertarians.

Did you ever think about debating on substance of the issues, rather than name calling, Thomas?

Of course not, that would require intellectual integrity. You believe it’s okay to threaten the well being of an individual, and his or her family? That doesn’t sound like a violation of someone’s natural rights, to you?

“The “Libertarian” “Defense” Caucus has created its own pale — a conceptual rather than geographical one, true, but its obvious purpose is the same as that of Imperial Russia’s Pale of Settlement: To isolate members of a particular Semitic ethnic group for purposes of persecution and pogrom.”

I’m sure the one reader of this blog (probably your own mother) thought that was indeed very clever and powerful. It’s slander, but don’t let the facts get in the way of your rant.

Gravatar Mike Gravel spoke at a rally for convicted and confessed terrorist,
Sami al-Arian. He called for people to look up the personal address of the
prosecutor of Sami, for the purpose of stalking and harassing the man’s family:
http://www.investigativeproject….org/article/ 741

Have you no shame? Defending a
terrorist, at the expense of innocent civilians? Where do you draw the line?
Physical punishment of his kids? Perhaps rape of his wife? You know very well that once a mob has been revved up, those kinds of things can happen.

It’s not as if Gravel were speaking at a rally for a victim of a drug law
prosecution, and calling for
harassment of those responsible in their official job capacity.

Gravatar Ironically, the libertarian movement that Rand helped create, seems to be turning it’s back on her. You may remember, Rand particularly admired Les Miserables. The hero, Jean Valjean, would not allow a revolutionary mob to lynch his obsessive prosecutor.

Tom did not really communicate the English meaning of “beyond the pale”.
Here is a good summary:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale
“The word pale derives ultimately from the Latin word palus, meaning stake. (Palisade and impale are derived from the same root.) In this case it literally refers to a stake (or pole) that forms part of a protective fence around a settlement. From this came the figurative meaning of ‘boundary’, and the concept of a pale as an area within which local laws were valid.

The phrase ‘beyond the pale’, meaning to go beyond the limits of law or decency, was in use by the mid-17th century. The phrase is possibly a reference to the general sense of boundary, not to any of the particular pales that bore that name, although in the British Isles it is popularly understood to be a reference to the Pale in Ireland. To ‘Go Beyond the Pale’ in that context is to leave the English world behind and enter the Irish world.”

Gravatar Ryan,

When I debate an issue, I’m always happy to debate the substance of said issue. However, you’re confused. The piece you’re responding to isn’t intended to be part of a debate, it’s intended to stand alone as a brief condemnation of your organization’s support for aggression, murder and terrorism.

Gravatar Tom’s comments are meant to “stand alone”–apart from reality, facts, and logic. Name-calling of pro-defense libertarians is not in the best intellectual tradition. Apparently Tom has gone from a moderately dovish foreign policy, to parroting far left non-interventionist dogma.

In any event, Tom had a chance to debate once the criticisms were posted. He declined, assuming his bumper-sticker slogans to be self-evident.

As The Libertarian Defense Caucus has grown rapidly over the last several years, it has become increasingly clear to the libertarian movement that are message is resonating with many libertarians seeking a strong and dynamic Armed Forces to protect and preserve their cherished liberty.

Some radical anarchists within the “Libertarian” community don’t like having their ideas challenged, and notions dispelled. The LDC has always known since its inception during the height of the Cold War, that the Caucus would meet with fierce resistance by those individuals who are “Libertarian” in name only. The radicals, who desperately sought to cling to their faux power, would not acquiesce to our contributions to libertarianism. The Libertarian Defense Caucus never believed it would be easy. Everything in life worth fighting for, such as liberty, is never easy.

The latest particularly vicious attack comes from notorious radical anarchist Thomas L. Knapp. The  illustrious founder of the anarchist “Boston Tea Party”. Never heard of this “political party”? Neither has anyone else. Perhaps because it only exists in the basement of Mr. Knapp’s parent’s home.

On his blog, Kn@ppster, Mr. Knapp has falsely (and rather despicably ) accused The Libertarian Defense Caucus of being racist, bigoted, and anti-Muslim. Mr. Knapp does not proffer any evidence whatsoever, to prove his dillusional rantings    http://knappster.blogspot.com/2008/08/faux-libertarians-throw-rocks-at-gravel.html This minor dilemma does not appear to matter to someone of Mr. Knapp’s unsavory character.

The Libertarian Defense Caucus is fully prepared to engage in debate with Mr. Knapp anytime he is prepared to debate substantive issues, rather than engaging in juvenile and baseless character assassinations. The Caucus is not holding its breath.

What say you, Mr. Knapp?
